Creating Your Own Disposable Diaper Inserts
Diaper Harness is simply a "suit" for your fowl to wear that allows you to place a diaper insert under the fowl's vent to collect poop. All Diaper Harnesses require a diaper insert (or feminine hygiene pad) to absorb liquid and collect solids.

The least inexpensive way to diaper your bird is to make your own disposable diaper inserts. You can easily make your own disposable diaper inserts at home with the correct size disposable baby diaper, feminine hygiene pad, or disposable adult incontinence diaper and a pair of scissors. Simply cut in half and place the inserts into the Butt Pouch of your fowl's diaper harness.
Selecting the Correct Size
- The smallest Diaper Harness sizes (A-B) use a regular feminine pad (without wings) cut in half.
- Most Diaper Harness sizes (B-L) use various sizes of disposable baby diapers.
- The largest Diaper Harness sizes (J-L) can use a disposable baby diaper, or they are use disposable adult incontinence diapers.
The following chart explains what size of disposable baby diaper, feminine pad, or adult incontinence diaper you need for your harness based on the harness's size.
